Setup Steps

  1. Create your venue account: Sign up at app.scan-perks.com. Add your business name, location, and reward rules (e.g. buy 9 drinks, get 1 free). No POS or hardware required.
  2. Generate and print your QR code: Scan Perks creates a unique QR code for your venue. Download print-ready posters from the dashboard and display at the counter or bar.
  3. Customer scans to join: Guests scan the QR with the Scan Perks app (iOS/Android) or mobile browser. They receive a digital loyalty card stored on their phone — contactless, no plastic.
  4. Earn and redeem rewards: Each visit scan adds a stamp or point. When a reward threshold is met, staff redeem in the owner dashboard. All visits are logged for analytics.
  5. Re-engage with push offers: Send push notifications for happy hours, slow nights, or new menu items. Starter includes 50 pushes/month; Growth is unlimited.

Technical Details

QR & Security

Each venue QR encodes a unique venue ID. Scans are timestamped server-side to prevent duplicate stamp fraud. Customer data is stored encrypted; owners access only their venue's member list.

POS Integration

Scan Perks does not require POS integration. Staff confirm visits via QR scan at the counter. This keeps setup under 5 minutes and avoids Square/Toast API dependencies.
